2 including mother sentenced to death for killing 5-year-old Samiul

DHAKA, Dec 20, 2020 (BSS) – A court here today sentenced two persons, including the mother, to death for killing five-year-old Khandaker Samiul Azim Wafi in June 2010.
The convicts are: Samiul’s mother Esha and Shamsuzzaman Arif alias Bakku, boyfriend of Esha.
Judge Shaikh Nazmul Alam of Dhaka Special Judge Court-4 handed down the sentence in their absence.
The court also issued arrest warrants against them as they were absconding when the verdict was announced.
Samiul, a student of play group of Green Wood International School in Nabboddya Housing under Adabor Police Station, was allegedly killed by his mother Esha and her paramour Shamsuzzaman Arif in 2010. ....
