new information this afternoon as two candles continue to escalate around the new york governor andrew cuomo. he s seen as the hero of the pandemic. he reportedly had staff who were actively changing numbers on how many new york state nursing home residents were dying. the governor s most senior aide rewrote the report to take it out. it, being the all right 9,000 nursing home residents that were dead. the report was released july 6. 4 days later, cuomo said he was writing a book about his leadership in the darkest days of the virus. we ll dig in to the timing of that as well as the accuser that calling him a textbook harasser and groomer. i was terrified. i was shaken. i thought any moment something could happen. martha: more on that story to come with leo terrell. we begin with ron kim, assemblyman. he s chair of the state s aging committee and he has been blowing the whistle on this nursing home scandal since day 1. he lost his uncle in one of these facilities. thanks
