Baramulla, February 22 (Scoop News)-In a bid to explore and promote tourism in hitherto unexplored tourist destinations, Snow festival was today celebrated as part of winter carnival in MundDaji Rafiabad of Baramulla district by the District Administration Baramulla.
The event witnessed huge gathering of youth with enthusiastic participation of athletes and other stakeholders from across district.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar said that MundDaji and adjoining locations will be promoted as tourist destinations which will create opportunities of employment for local youth.
She further said that MundDaji has a huge potential to attract tourists from across the globe.
The festival evoked tremendous response from not only the locals of the area but from adventure lovers as well.
