MSCI s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan (.MIAPJ0000PUS) also dipped 0.3%, giving it a monthly gain of 6.4%. Chinese blue chips (.CSI300) lost another 1.1%, and have missed out on all the global cheer with the market down 2% in November so far.
Nasdaq futures were down 0.2% and S&P 500 futures fell 0.1% early in the Asia day. Volumes are likely to be lightened through the rest of the week by Thursday s Thanksgiving holiday in the United States.
MSCI s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan surged 1.7% to the highest level in one week. Tokyo s Nikkei gained 1.4% to cross the 32,000 level for the first time in two weeks.
