bit. look at a movie like free guy. i think people were kind of skeptical like oh, they re going to keep free guy just in theatres? but they extended the life of the movie and they did a good job of getting it into the top ten on the year. i was a little surprised by how well that one held, but it s a fun movie. people wanted to go see it in theatres. what s especially interesting here is that all of these movies are basically films that appeal to young men. if you re looking at it s younger male audiences. those are the movies that are still doing really, really well. movies like west side story, which is available only in theatres, have not done as well. movies like the last dual. even house of gucci. which has done a little better. those are skewed towards a little older audiences. in some cases, more female centric audiences and they have not done as well. the young male audience is the one that has said we are done with delta, with omicron.
