Institute Ski League race for Deerfield Academy Staff Reports Published: 3/3/2021 6:58:48 PM The final race of the Mount Institute Ski League took place Wednesday at Berkshire East, with Rowe native and Deerfield Academy skier Nick Baker taking first place in the varsity boys slalom race. Baker earned first with a two-run combined time of 66.40 seconds. Fellow Big Green racers Chip Coffin and Morgan Haisman took second and third, with Coffin finishing with a combined time of 67.40 and Haisman closed behind at 69.91. DA’s Joe Brown took fifth with a combined time of 73.33 as the Big Green came away with a first-place team finish on the boys side.
