Once again, the Met Gala, Anna Wintour’s Annual Day of Judgment, is upon us. On Monday night, a parade of celebrities, billionaires, semi-recognizable faces and trashy social media randos ascended the stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and tried not to trip on their outfits. Mentally, however, everybody stumbled on this year’s brow-raising theme: “The Garden of Time,” a short story by J.G. Ballard.
