So dozens of screaming residents raced out of the building into the frigid temperatures. Those temperatures in the teens as some ran out wearing only sandals. New york citys mayor calling it the worst fire in the citys, in decades. Tis tragedy we have seen in this city in at least a quarter century, based on the information we have now, this will rank as one of the worst losses of life to a fire in many, many years.
