Anyone who sees someone attempting to break into the ballot drop boxes, delivering multiple ballots to the boxes, damaging the boxes or otherwise doing something suspicious or criminal is asked
NORRISTOWNÂ â Eleven secure ballot drop boxes will soon be placed across Montgomery County ahead of the May 18 primary election, according to county officials.
Those who have registered for a mail-in ballot can drop off completed ballots starting at 10 a.m. on May 1 at the following locations:
Cheltenham: Township Tax Office, 8230 Old York Road, Elkins Park
Lansdale: District Court 38-1-28, 430 Pennbrook Parkway, Lansdale
Lower Merion: Ludington Library, 5 South Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr
Norristown: Montgomery County Airy Street Parking Lot, corner of Airy and DeKalb streets, Norristown
Pottstown: Montgomery County Community College - South Hall, 101 College Drive, Pottstown
Royersford: Victory Park Parking Lot, Second Avenue and Arch Street, Royersford
NORRISTOWN â A $9 million construction contract for a storage facility at the Montgomery County Department of Public Safetyâs emergency operations center was approved last week by Montgomery Countyâs elected officials.
The $9,086,011 agreement between the Montgomery County Department of Assets and Infrastructure and SJ Thomas Co. Inc., of Lansdowne, would cover âthe construction of a warehouse and garage facilityâ at the agencyâs headquarters in Eagleville.
The seven-figure listing was a âtotal lump sum price,â according to the contract award.

According to Kelly Cofransisco, Montgomery Countyâs director of communications, once completed, the warehouse would store several items including generators, personal protective equipment and sign boards and traffic equipment for mass evacuations.
