And they ve become a foolish status symbol in our nation today. i think nike at a time when we re in a recession and at a time when parents are working to pull money together for school books is, computers, the things that our children need to be able to achieve, this represents a misplaced priority. nike should pull the shoe. and i think parents should pay close attention to whether thissing is really where they should spend their hard-earned dollars. so this is just a moment. just a few months ago when a previous shoe was sbous introduced there was violence at retailers across the nation. it s time to just say no. why not take this message to parents? this is a free market. if the priorities are not in line, isn t that the parents problem? why does nike need to bear the brunt of this? they re a company offering a shoe like apple offers an iphone. we ve seen frenz as over
