(MENAFN - The Conversation) I am a registered nurse (RN) and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. As an RN, I worked in public and maternal-child health. In addition to a Bachelor of Science in biotechnology and a Baccalaureate in nursing, I also have a PhD from the faculty of nursing at the University of Calgary, where I examined maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy and infant feeding outcomes in moderate and late preterm infants enrolled in the Alberta Family Integrated Care (FICare) trial. I am also the research lead on a patient oriented research study determining the top 10 research priorities for families with young children.
