Bursa Malaysia is expected to trade lower next week in the absence of market catalysts, with the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) index set to move between the 1,420 and 1,450 levels.
The ringgit is likely to trend lower this week as the recent aggressive interest rate hike by the United States Federal Reserve (Fed) and its signal of more steep hikes going forward will continue to weigh on the currency, said an analyst.
