PAS vice-president Mohd Amar Abdullah said the opposition practised a double standard when it came to political defections.
He said the opposition had no trouble with government MPs defecting, but were upset when it was the other way around.

Ousted BN secretary-general Annuar Musa claimed PAS proposed that the Muafakat Nasional coalition comprising the Islamist party and Umno be registered but Umno refused.
This differed from what PAS vice-president Mohd Amar Abdullah had alleged.
Amar had claimed that there was a problem in registering the coalition with the Registrar of Societies (RoS) as the name was registered by another party.
