Reporting them is creating a challenge for us journalism, and were going to talk it through with journalists whove been on the ground. But before we meet them, lets remind ourselves whats been unfolding over the past month. So, these protests started at Columbia University in new york in mid april. According to a bbc tally, there have now been demonstrations at nearly 140 colleges across 45 states and washington, dc, too.
