The case was filed on January 4, 2020, after complainant Teerth Patel said his mobile was snatched when he was out on a walk near his house in the Dindoli area on December 22, 2019.
Assistant commissioner of police Virendra Kumar Mishra told media on Monday that two scooter riders looted a mobile phone from a student in vegetables market area on Sunday.
The victim was reportedly dragged for around 150 meters. She works at Fortis hospital in Shalimar Bagh and is also being treated there. The police are investigating the matter.
