A request by county supervisor asking a judge to recuse himself in an appeal by the city of Madison over the rezoning of 350 acres on Bozeman Road has been denied.
Madison Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler filed a lawsuit in circuit court on Monday against three members of the Madison County Board of Supervisors involving the rezoning of 350 acres on Bozeman road that is currently under appeal.
Despite formal opposition from the city of Madison and several subdivisions, Madison County supervisors on Monday voted narrowly to approve rezoning about 350 acres near the proposed Reunion interchange on Bozeman Road.
