Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart has been allocated a little over 900 Pfizer vaccines. This is about three times more than their first shipment, which is why local leaders decided to open the clinic and vaccinate as many people as possible.

Texas vaccine distribution demand is outpacing supply

Texas vaccine distribution demand is outpacing supply VIDEO: Texas vaccine distribution demand’s is out pacing supply By Vania Patino | January 5, 2021 at 10:05 PM CST - Updated January 5 at 10:22 PM AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - As we enter the fourth week of vaccine distribution in Texas, some providing it say, the demand is out pacing the supply. Last Wednesday, those who had vaccines, were allowed to give it to those in the Phase1B Category. In our area, that meant a handful of clinics, the Amarillo Public Health Department, Texas Tech and some United Pharmacies. Texas Tech ran out that same day. As a result, they have not been vaccinating people in this category and say it all depends on when and how many they get in the next shipment.
