Typically weak tornadoes, and tropical systems, and up around pensacola. this morning, in southern alabama, not far from, i believe, hancock county. so the forecast from here on out, locally heavy rain. still a potential for flash flooding along the coast. now that the storm is on shore and we have a cold front coming in, it will finally kick this thing northeast. still only moving three miles an hour. the front will come in and move northeast and take all of this tropical rain with it. so rainfall will moving into areas where they need it. not that they didn t need it here. nashville, atlanta, three to five inches. the real issue, what we re watching down the road, is how much of this moisture makes it up the appalachians and into the northeast, in those areas. mike, new jersey, mike, vermont, now that will be later in the week. we re talking wednesday and beyond time frame. but it s going to be something that we ll be watching on msnbc and for those from the weather channel, it s one
