Objector withdraws challenge to Revelle candidacy
Evanston s Electoral Board concludes three days of hearings on challenges to five of the 28 candidates seeking to run for city offices next year.

An attorney for Yvi Kraus Russell, who’d challenged the candidacy papers of Alderman Eleanor Revelle, 7th Ward, withdrew the objection at a hearing of Evanston’s Electoral Board this morning.
The board accepted the withdrawal, wrapping up three days of hearings on a half-dozen disputes involving five candidates seeking to be on next spring’s municipal election ballot.
Russell’s attorney, Andrew Finko, said that based on previous rulings of the board, he doubted his client could prevail.
