Well, nearly 180,000 people in california have been told to evacuate because the tallest dam is capable of failing. Residents in eight area towns were ordered to evacuate sunday afternoon when the spillway erosion was spotted. Worst case, if the spillway collapsed, a 30foot wall of water would spill onto the towns below. Lake orville is one of californias largest manmade lakes. Officials are releasing water. The water is over the top of the spillway and theyre using helicopters to block holes. I just got a text message and alert that says get out as fast as we can.
