Black Hawks Honor Military Personnel/Vets With Free Tickets/Special Jerseys The Waterloo Black Hawks make a quick trip to Nebraska to battle the Lincoln Stars this Friday night, then come back home for a special patriotic weekend and instant rematch with Lincoln in Party Town Saturday night. Then on Selection Sunday as they like to call it in college basketball, the team will take on Tri-City with discounted tickets for fans (details below). Both games will feature free tickets for military personnel and veterans. According to a team press release: for more than a decade, the Black Hawks have honored those who have served in our nation’s Armed Forces by wearing a patriotic or military-themed jersey during an annual weekend dedicated to veterans. This season, that weekend will be this Saturday, March 13th and Sunday, March 14th.
