Member organizations will share their work with the island, according to a news release.
The first Fanohge Forum, “Voices for Decolonization, will feature the work of Independent Guåhan. Speakers will discuss why the island must undergo decolonization as it looks to the future, the news release stated.
The webinar will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 4 and livestream on the Facebook pages of Fanohge Coalition and Independent Guåhan.
In the future, other groups to speak include Prutehi Litekyan, the Guam Youth Congress, Talaya Micronesia, Guam Community College Ecowarriors and the Micronesian Climate Change Alliance.
The Fanohge Coalition has also sent letters to Therese Terlaje, speaker of the 36th Guam Legislature, and Guam Del. Michael San Nicolas to meet soon.
