you on futurecast coming up. but here s a live look with our treasure island camera and right now 37 in santa rosa 40inivermore and mid 40s concord and san jose and upper 40s for oakland as well as for san francisco. taking you through the day, partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. daytime highs in the mid- to upper 50s. but i ll let you know and time out for you when we ll see those scattered showers later today coming up. gianna? all right thanks mary. to the roadways right now we saw minor delays along the eastshore freeway. we had reports of broken down vehicle possibly some debris in the roadway. it s eastbound 80 so it s no really inthe commute rection. so not really slowing you down westbound but eastbound we are seeing some stop and go conditions because of this. right around cutting boulevard. that number two lane blocked because of this stall. and debris in the roadway. so just a heads-up if you plan on taking 80 through there. other trouble spots northbound 101 a
accidents blocking lanes. the biggest one is right around redwood estates and you have got that right lane blocked there. traffic is slow there as you work your way approaching that crash. and right at the summit area, summit road we have report of a crash there as well. right lane blocked on that one also. busy ride going out of santa cruz mountains this morning. also busy through the altamont pass. that s coming up in the next report. right now the battle between some moms in oakland and a real estate company is on the streets with a potential eviction looming. kpix 5 s jackie ward joins us live from west oakland where protests are getting underway. jackie? reporter: you can see the crowd is growing behind me michelle. they are rallying in support of the moms who live here with their kids on magnolia street. the moms are going to be evicted and they re not leaving without a fight they say. judge patrick mckenny recently ruled oakland moms for housing must leave the west
easy morning. let s start with a live look at our bridges. starting with the san mateo bridges morning. everything looks pretty darn good. in fact a little bit later than usual. not sure why, but i guess everyone decides they re going to work from home on tuesday. in the meantime you have some company but never in a break like that all. in the eastbound direction everything seems to be moving right along. not a single problem there. onto the bay bridge for the metering lights are not yet on. they should be on here in the next 20 minutes or so. in the meantime we are starting to see added volume at the toll plaza and certainly those cash lanes are backed up but also the fast-track lanes are a little bit slow as well. went to through the toll plaza you are back up to a regular running speed and smooth sailing into the city. off to the richmond/san rafael bridge, we do have emergency construction in place and you can see chp on the scene as well as several flashing lights. that
your main travel times period went to get you out the door so you know exactly how much time you need. the good news is none of these travel times are in the red that s pretty unusual for this 6:00 hour. including of course altamont pass which is usually pretty slow at least at the 20 minute by now. only a 36 minute ride for the asthma pastor the i will let you know in the westbound direction at port chicago there is an accident it has been moved to the soldier that you might be slowing down as you are headed to the pittsburg antioch area towards the east shore freeway. not surprising that the southbay commute looks pretty darn good as you head out of san jose on 101. the san mateo bridge is starting to get busier but still light compared to yesterday. this is for whatever reason an easier commute in the westbound direction. metering lights are on at the bay bridge and have been for about 30 minutes. you can see they are starting to stack up the on the 880 flyover and it is
