Dolores Rose DâAlessandro Mangione, 91, a resident of Wesley Village, and formerly of Wyoming, passed away Thursday evening, July 1, 2021. She joined her husband and sweetheart, Joe, who waited patiently for her since 2018. They were married for 70 years.
Dolores was born in Yatesville, and raised in the Hilldale section of Plains Twp. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Julia Travarelli Mangione.
Dolores was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1947. She graduated from Wyoming Seminary Business School in 1948.
Nothing meant more to Dolores than the love of her family and friends. She was an amazing cook and mother. Dolores was always at the ready to help in any way possible. Her recipes and entertaining skills will live on in all that had the distinct pleasure of sitting at her table.
