IPOH: White flag or not, many non-governmental organisations here are already rendering their assistance to the needy.
Kathleen Wong, adviser of soup kitchen Pertubuhan Amal Ai Xin Fan Tong Ipoh, says that most needy folk would know where to get help as there are many NGOs around to provide assistance.
“I don’t think many NGOs are into this white flag movement. As most of us have been around for many years, we know the situation,” she said when contacted.
“There may be other people who need help and they can always reach out to us and we will try our best to help them. ....
