LODI A 25-year-old man was killed and several others were injured in an early-morning fire Monday that consumed a multifamily home on Westminster Place, authorities said.
While most of the home s occupants were able to escape through the front door or by leaping from second-story windows, Ezequiel Gonzalez died in the fire, prosecutors said in a statement. Two other people were treated for injuries, one for trauma and the other for smoke inhalation, Lodi Fire Chief Steven Cassiello said. A firefighter also injured his wrist.
