In just over one week a historic solar eclipse will blanket Northern Vermont in darkness. Though Manchester will be outside of the path of totality, those staying put in the southern portion of the state will still see a partial eclipse of approximately 97 percent.
The Junior Instructional Snowsports Program (JISP) recently concluded its biggest season yet thanks to collaborations with schools and organizations throughout southern Vermont. Nearly 900 students participated in the program this year, joining a legacy that spans from the 1940s to now.
