Mendocino County officials announced this week that after "quietly testing a new and innovative communication pathway designed to increase and deepen collaboration (between) criminal justice and human services organizations" for the past year, they have determined that "the project is now ready to be amplified in the public arena."
A sinkhole that chewed through a Mendocino County road Friday, stranding about 50 residents and guests for days, is anticipated to worsen with the ongoing heavy rain and flooding.
