But what exactly this would mean, and why now versus a couple years ago, needs some context. So my holier-than-thou, knee-jerk reaction back then was, “Real men eat just about anything.” Back when I was growing up at a time when we’d never heard of quiche or yogurt Mama would always urge us to clean our plates if we wanted dessert. That meant the green vegetables and not just the meat and potatoes.
