Jack Ma s Alibaba to pay $2.7 billion penalty by China
Nature gives nine months to parents to get prepared for the arrival of a new life; but what if a new born popped up without any prior warning during a regular trip to the bathroom? This is precisely what happened to Melissa Surgecoff. The 38-year-old from Boston, USA, had absolutely no idea that she was pregnant until her son fell into the bowl.
A little while before that, Melissa experienced agonizing stomach cramps and thought they were due to the kidney stones . Melissa was sitting on the loo to get some relief from the cramps.
A Massachusetts woman has become a mom after experiencing what she thought was kidney stones.
Melissa Surgecoff was feeling intense cramping and at first she assumed it was from her period, but as the day wore on and the pain started coming faster, she believed she was passing a kidney stone. She had no idea she was even pregnant until her baby was born while she was on the toilet.
The 38-year-old says she called 911 because she was in so much pain and her fiancé,
DonnieCampbell, was really worried. And she says the only position she could get comfortable in was “sitting on the toilet.” So that’s where she was, screaming and waiting for the ambulance, when her newborn son arrived. “We were just kind of in shock and not expecting it,” the new dad explains, “and all the sudden there’s a baby in the toilet.”
