A charity’s work helping disadvantaged people find work has been recognised by The Queen.
YMCA North Staffordshire has received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for its Creative Youth Minds programme, which boosts people’s job skills.
Daniel Flynn, chief executive of the Hanley-based organisation, which has operated in the city for more than 170 years, said: “YMCA North Staffordshire is an inclusive community of people with incredible gifts and talents.
