for information. anything that might help them find the gunman. without witnesses, there isn t much to go on. it was 11:30 wednesday night, a resident called 911, to report the sound of a revving car. rakita crenshaw heard it, too. a car was going, like somebody was sitting in their car forever and after that you heard silence. reporter: when police arrived, they found a 47-year-old man inside a running car. he had been shot multiple times and it appears his foot hit the accelerator. the first noise complaint came in was about a sound of a car revving. and that was probably the victim s car. reporter: no arrests have been made and police are still trying to figure out the motive behind the murder. residents say it s all very disturbing. i m shocked. i m just out for a morning walk and i see you know, news media and i m like, what s going on. reporter: scary? heavens yes, i have a baby. i have a child here. reporter: while police have not released the name, t
