passengers heading home. dan laeashley is on assignment. it was staged at super bowl city. you can see the crowd gathered from sky 7 hd along with the demonstrators, demonstrators as well. and it was a peaceful protest s protesters. reporter: when the whole world s watching or at least thousands of football fans, protesters are seizing the moment. the homeless say super bowl is not so super for them. this is my pleasure because they don t want certain elements around during the super bowl. reporter: but tonight some of the homeless and their advocates are making their presence known. the police are separating them from super bowl city and hope to arrest a tent city across the street. we have corporate part that the cities giving away $5 million to hold and we would have liked to see that money go towards ending homelessness. reporter: they already know there s a crisis. some of the homeless might be persuaded to move shelter at pier 80 that could open tomorrow. the
