Most of Gagliardi's inspiration springs from geometric patterns and symmetry contained within the chaotic appearance in nature, as well as the relationship of capturing and transforming light.
“I am attracted to the fluidity of working with hot glass that ebbs and flows between liquid and solid states,” he said. “While my perception is often in a similar tidal pattern, drifting between etheric daydreams and physical reality, the process of blowing glass requires absolute attention and focus.”
