here. this is the cbs evening news with scott pelley. mason: good evening. scott is off tonight. i m anthony mason. under growing pressure to use his bully pulpit to condemn anti-semitism, president trump did just that today after touring the national museum of african american history and culture in washington, the president said, we have to fight bigotry, intolerance, and hatred in all of its very ugly forms. some of the ugliest in recent days were the desecration of a jewish cemetery, and threats against jewish community centers. margaret brennan is at the white house. anti-semitic threats targeting our jewish community and community centers are horrible and are painful. reporter: for the first time, president trump addressed anti-semitic incidents that have happened on his watch. president trump s comments came after more than 170 graves were toppled at a jewish cemetery in missouri, and more than 50 jewish community centers nationwide received bomb threats. but
