FRANCISTOWN: : A murder accused, Otlhalefile Sejaka, who was out on bail allegedly committed suicide after being on the run and wanted by the police for a different criminal matter.

Four individuals from Zimbabwe have been sentenced to one year in prison for engaging in illegal gold mining at Albert’s Farm, situated near Matsiloje village. As per the charge sheet, Lucky Ndlovu, Honest Ndebele, Bernard Moyo, and Kholwani Dube were apprehended by a joint patrol team of the Botswana Defence Force and the Botswana Police Service while unlawfully mining gold at the farm on January 4.
FRANCISTOWN: Zimbabwean duo, Thato Ngwenya and Shepherd Ngwenya, along with two Batswana, Moemedi Choto and Simane Lungisani, appeared before the Francistown Magistrate Court on Tuesday to answer to one count of allegedly stealing a Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) cable.
