Today the Toronto Biennial of Art (the Biennial/TBA) announced its confirmed roster of Canadian and international artists for the second edition of the city-wide event, on view March 26 to June 5, 2022. Tairone Bastien, Candice Hopkins, and Katie Lawson are the curatorial team for the free, 72-day event with contributions from former TBA curators Clare Butcher and Myung-Sun Kim.

this year’s Walters Prize, New Zealand’s contemporary
art prize, which opens this Saturday 15 May at Auckland Art
Gallery.
Fowle says she is looking forward to working

The Walters Prize is Aotearoa New Zealand’s most significant contemporary art award. Established in 2002, this will be the tenth iteration of the Walters Prize, which was created as a platform to show excellence in the visual arts.
