Antylia Scientific is to set up a new facility in the National Science Park in Mullingar
Biopharmaceutical company Antylia Scientific is to create 60 jobs in Co Westmeath as it sets up a new facility in the National Science Park in Mullingar.
This is the company s first facility in Ireland and the project is supported by IDA Ireland.
The new jobs are in the areas of process and medical device engineering, manufacturing as well as logistics and supply chain.
Antylia Scientific s new bioprocessing facility will be used to design and manufacture Masterflex peristaltic technologies that are used in pharmaceutical and bioprocessing workflows for the development and production of vaccines and therapeutics.
