The lasting impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing conflict, and accelerating climate change continue to hinder progress toward eliminating malnutrition in all its forms. Recent trends in financing for nutrition-specific interventions including early prevention, detection, and treatment of child wasting in particular are positive, but it is still not enough to meet the growing need.
