There was a fantastic buzz of excitement around the Studio 55 Dance Academy in Arklow when as many as 100 local children came together for two fantastic Valentine's Day discos.
An enthralled crowd of just under 300 people were in attendance when ‘The Celtic Brothers’ featuring The Willoughbys performed to a packed house in the Arklow Bay Hotel recently.
Studio 55 Academy in Arklow left musical fans from across the Garden County enchanted when they held the Wicklow premiere of Elf the Musical over the festive period, with the man who played Santa describing it as “a magical show altogether” that saved local people the time and expense of travelling to Dublin.
After being put through their paces for 12 gruelling weeks, players and dance partners from Arklow Rugby Club finally got to strut their stuff as the Arklow Bay Hotel hosted the ‘Strictly Scrum Dancing’ fundraiser in aid of the club, on Friday, November 24.
