be here with jedediah bila and griff jenkins here in new york city. we could have gone to almost every major city at any particular moment. most had curfews at different times. you can count the clock down and police moving in. finally minute in place decides to set a curfew to attempt to enforce it even though it was hour, hour 1/2 before they decided to do so. this is not slowing down, rioters felt embowlenned by local leaders not strong in responding. that is exactly right. a large vacuum in terms of leadership. a lot of people around the country, many of these cities who wanted to peacefully protest. who wanted to get out to make voices heard, talk about george floyd, who was unjustly killed, make him the focus, celebrate his life and the need to bring justice to the family. they didn t feel safe enough to go out because the protests turned into violent riots. what do we do, we have the right to protest in our country, that is cornerstone of our republic but i can t get
drives the stock market. there s no doubt that everyone says earnings should resume. people are kind of concerned, is the good news built into this market? there s been some relief obviously. we ve had the same news this fall and winter that we did last year at this time if you remember with the trade on and off again. definitely something to forget because we have that big fall from the top. this year the market reacted positively to the same news. i think the tone is changed and so is the sentiment. that was the biggest hurdle we hawehad to overcome. speaking of tone and change last december we saw another rate hike with the federal reserve indicating they were going to keep hiking rates no matter what. december 24th, christmas eve, was a bloodbath. this year they cut rates three times. jay powell sank i ve had an epiphany, higher wages does not mean higher inflation. were not going to get ahead of the curve are not going to derail this economy. that s been a major di
