be here with jedediah bila and griff jenkins here in new york city. we could have gone to almost every major city at any particular moment. most had curfews at different times. you can count the clock down and police moving in. finally minute in place decides to set a curfew to attempt to enforce it even though it was hour, hour 1/2 before they decided to do so. this is not slowing down, rioters felt embowlenned by local leaders not strong in responding. that is exactly right. a large vacuum in terms of leadership. a lot of people around the country, many of these cities who wanted to peacefully protest. who wanted to get out to make voices heard, talk about george floyd, who was unjustly killed, make him the focus, celebrate his life and the need to bring justice to the family. they didn t feel safe enough to go out because the protests turned into violent riots. what do we do, we have the right to protest in our country, that is cornerstone of our republic but i can t get
