Newark police in Delaware arrested a man on Tuesday who allegedly attempted to carjack two vehicles, including an unmarked police vehicle driven by an off-duty officer.
Newark, Delaware, man Mark Tannen was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly trying to carjack an off-duty police officer in an unmarked police vehicle, according to police.
Police believe the suspect, Mark Tannen of Newark, had attempted and failed to carjack another vehicle just minutes before trying to take an unmarked police car.
