For two years, we all have been waiting for a return to “normal.” But even with the end of mask mandates drawing near, our “normal” has been altered. Coronavirus is here to stay, and the goal is to live with it as best we can while working to protect each other.
Indoor mask mandates remain in effect in Clark County despite new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that say such measures are no longer recommended in the county.
Effective immediately, all athletes, coaches and other personnel for basketball, wrestling, competitive cheer, and water polo are required to complete COVID-19 testing three times per week, regardless of vaccination status. One test must be conducted at least 24 hours before a contest.
