it s probably just you but it s ao a little milder outside. at least downtown. we didn t get quite as cold. clouds helped us out a little bit. plenty of the western subur way down below freezing again this morning. if y live out west of town, you ll have a bundle up factor first thing this morning. around town some harmless clouds drifting overhead. they re not going to bring us any rain. another dry day today. we re 41 downtown. 36 in prince george s county. 31 out in fairfax. 30 degrees in leesburg. 30 in winchester. upper 20s to low 30s across upper montgomery county as well. plenty of cold air out there first thing on a sund morning. those rain showers way out to our west will stay west of us for today and through much of tomorrow as well. i think our rain trances here don t start to sneak up again until we get into the late hours of monday night. hopefully we can keep the rain away from the redskins game. hank you, chuck. you re welcome. we re following two ....
from sprgfield with the latest. what do we know? reporter: this is the scene and parishioners coming this this church this morning were greeted by crime scene tape. at 6:45 someone apparently dropped off a baby girl in the parking lot. now the child was in what they describe as a gymag with towels and it was a newborn baby. we are told the umbilical cord was still attached. it was a baby girl no way to tell the ethnicity at this point. we re just told a dark haired baby girl. now the child was taken to fafax hospital. the condition isnknown but we are told as well the child was crying when discovered. there arsafe haven laws in virginia and other area jurisdictions that allow the parents of a child to drop the baby off within the first 14 ys of life an police and fire station and there would be no criminal prosecution provided that reasonable measures were taken to ensure the fety of the child. though it s not clear whether the discovery or whether this baby being lef ....
