The Philippine Superliga (PSL) is negotiating with GMA 7 to be its new broadcast partner after parting ways with TV5.
PSL chairman Philip Ella Juico announced this Tuesday, adding that they are in talks with the television giant to first air the beach volleyball scheduled on Feb. 26.
“We’re starting fresh,” Juico said during his appearance at the Philippine Sportswriters Association Online Forum.
Juico said “there’s no other sensible reason to stay with TV5” after a six-year partnership since Cignal officially notified them of joining the Premier Volleyball League.
“We have to adjust with the reality of the situation,” Juico said.
