Vaimiti. However, that all changed when the facility caught the attention of refit specialists Monaco Marine and months of discussions soon transformed into an exciting takeover that commenced in May 2012.
The team at Monaco Marine knew that the yard could make the perfect base to cater to superyachts in the 30 to 40-metre sector to help grow the business – ensuring they kept the essence of what made Chantier Tréhard so successful: being an adaptable, accessible and respected shipyard.
