Marielle McHale thought her Syracuse career was over after using a medical redshirt for her fifth season in 2022-23. But after SU head coach Britni Smith asked her to return, McHale set the record for most games played in program history.
Despite winning the faceoff battle 30-20, Syracuse couldn’t muster any offense to get past RIT, falling 1-0. The Orange now sit on the doorstep of missing the CHA playoffs for the first time in program history.
