A total of 500 indigent residents of Marikina City received fresh produce from the Eastern Police District (EPD) Crime Laboratory on Saturday (July 10).

Police Lt. Col. Marianne Ebdane, MD, chief of the EPD Crime Laboratory, said they earlier coordinated with Barangay Concepcion, Marikina for a systematic distribution of food, making sure that health and safety protocols will be followed. “We handed out coupons to indigent residents with the help of the barangay. We want everybody to be safe, and for the distribution to be orderly,” she said.
The barangay identified 500 of their indigent residents who will benefit from the food assistance from the EPD- Crime Laboratory.
