Mrs. Giuseppina Catanzaro, age 89 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at Southbridge Roseview. Giuseppina was born on March 19, 1932 in Curinga, Italy. She married Vincenzo Catanzaro on March 19, 1959. She immigrated to Canada in October 1959 to join her husband, Vincenzo. Together they began a new life in Canada and raised 5 wonderful children. With 5 children to raise she focused all of her attention and time on caring for her family and ensuring that no need went unnoticed. She had a natural ability to create something out of nothing whether it be sewing, knitting, cooking, or tending to her garden. No task was too great or too small, she was able to do it all. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and brought her much joy and happiness. She loved to involve them in all of the Italian traditions including making their own little bread rolls from homemade dough that she made from scratch. ....
