GRAND CHUTE, WI â The Beloit Snappers defeated the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 7-2 in the final game of the opening series of the 2021 season on a chilly Sunday afternoon at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Beloit scored early and managed to keep the Rattlers from big innings despite very good scoring opportunities.
Bubba Hollins put the Snappers (2-4) in front with a three-run home run in the first inning. Ricky Aracena started the inning with a bunt single and a stolen base and Connor Scott reached on a walk with two outs before Hollins launched a 1-0 pitch over the wall in left for his first home run of the season.

SHAVANO PARK, Texas Two suspects wanted in connection to a violent home invasion in an upscale neighborhood are still on the loose tonight.
Shavano Park Police said they were among a group of men who held the victim at gunpoint while they ransacked the house, getting away with guns and thousands of dollars in cash.
Police said the crime happened on January 31st around 10 p.m. when the victim was on the patio of his home in the Bentley Manor community in Shavano Park.

SAN ANTONIO Three men have been arrested and two other suspects remain at large after a robbery at a Shavano Park home in January.
Police said the victim reported that he was sitting on his back patio on Manchester Way when several men in dark clothes and head coverings approached him and ordered him inside the house at gunpoint. Then he was tied to his dining room table using electrical cords, and he subsequently was beaten. As one of the suspects watched the victim, the remaining suspects ransacked the home for approximately 30 minutes, police said. Items reported stolen from the victim from the residence included a large amount of cash, two firearms, jewelry, and a pair of Apple Air pods.
